in the holy fire on the day of Holika Dahan. Gularis are made from cow dung. The work of making them is started from Phulera Dooj itself. In this, women make small balls of cow dung and make holes in it with their fingers. After drying, five to seven garlands of these gulris are made and on the day of Holika Dahan, these gulris are offered in the fire of Holi. These Gularis are considered auspicious

The temples are decorated with flowers and lights and the idol of Lord Krishna is placed in a decorated and colorful mandap. A small piece of colored cloth is put on the waist of the idol of Lord Krishna, symbolizing that he is ready to play Holi. Phulera Dooj is also celebrated as the date of union of Radha and Krishna,On this day Radha played Holi of flowers with Shri Krishna.
